October 28th 2009- decided to adopt
November 17th 2009-Sent in application to Generations Adoption Agency
November 23rd 2009-accepted to Generations Adoption Agency 
November 30th 2009-orientation phone conference with Generations Adoption Agency
December 9th, 2009-first homestudy meeting with AAA Partners in Adoption
December 19th, 2009-Decided to switch homestudy agencies and go with Lifeline Adoption Agency for various reasons.
December 22nd, 2009-Lifeline Adoption Agency received our Homestudy PacketJanuary 5th, 2010-Lifeline Homestudy interview over the phone- We are officially accepted to Lifeline!
January 18th, 2010-Finished all my Homestudy paperwork. Dee is almost there!
January 21st, 2010-first homestudy visit 
January 28th, 2010-second homestudy visit 
January 29th, 2010-mailed my USCIS form to Homeland Security-mailed to wrong address
February 3rd, 2010-U.S. Embassy stopped the issuance of visas for Ugandan orphans- Ugandan Adoptions on HOLD
February 5th, 2010-We have all our Homestudy paperwork ready to give to our social worker for our third and last visit.
February 11th, 2010-third homestudy visit
February 19th, 2010-USCIS letter resent to the correct address
March 4th, 2010- I-797 Notice of Action received from USCIS- letter finally made it to the correct hands!
March 15th, 2010- Received our USCIS fingerprint appointment
March 24th, 2010- USCIS fingerprint appointment
April 16th, 2010-US Embassy granted Visas for Ugandan adoptions again! Praise God!
May 3rd, 2010-our agency is reviewing our homestudy.
May 13th, 2010-our homestudy is finished and in my hands.
May 14th, 2010- homestudy sent to USCIS 
May 22nd, 2010-USCIS APPROVAL!!
June 10th, 2010- we are 5th on the orphanage waiting list for a referral.
June 25th, 2010-we received a referral of a 20 month old baby boy! He is beautiful!
June 28th, 2010-We accepted Charles Tucker's referral!
July 15th-August 15th, 2010-Ugandan Courts Closed
August 16th, 2010-Ugandan Courts Open!!
August 27th, 2010-Our Dossier was filed with the Ugandan Courts
September 30, 2010-We found out we are matched with a judge in Uganda...most likely will get court date in October...
October 12, 2010-We learned that our case was being filed with a new judge...no court date until Nov. 1st...
October 18, 2010-Probably going to Uganda next week, will find out in two days...
October 20, 2010-No court date, maybe tomorrow, but keep packing...
October 21, 2010-No court date....papers were in the wrong place...back to square one...highly disappointed...
October 26, 2010-Papers are finally in the right pile...the waiting begins again...
November 9, 2010- Our family was apparently skipped to be matched with the judge. Little disappointed...
November 17, 2010-WE GOT A COURT DATE OF DECEMBER 3rd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 29th, 2010-Leave for Uganda
December 1st, 2011-First time seeing Charles Tucker
December 3rd, 2010-Court date in Uganda
December 21st, 2010-Ruling for legal guardianship
December 31st, 2010-We are Home!!!
February 4, 2011-Adoption Day at the court house in downtown Atlanta. Charles Tucker is officially ours!
