We started the Christmas season off on Mary Taylor's actual birthday, November 26th. For her third birthday we went to Atlantic Station to see the snow fall, ride the train, and see Santa Clause. We all had a blast!
We welcomed Christmas with open arms and celebrated Mary Taylor's big day with lots of family love. Happy 3rd Birthday TayTay!!
December continued with bake sales for Henry's school...

Christmas tree decorating, advent crafts for everyday of December....
this was the "Mary" craft we made, which was one of 24 crafts we accomplished...
...and lots of shopping for mommy to finish, so I would be prepared for Christmas morning.
On another note, the kids took a shower all together for the first time. All the screaming and flood in the bathroom led me to believe they thoroughly enjoyed their first shower!

Christmas Eve, we spent the whole day at the Debardelebens, but I don't think I took any pictures. But, then that evening we attended our Christmas service at our church, where all of the children performed some Christmas Songs.

I inherited these toy soldiers from my grandmother...The kids love to play with these, that is why they are up high this year.
We made hand print ornaments before the kids hands got too big...
I was so thrilled to find a nativity scene like my mother had when we were children. Brings back so many memories.

After we spent Christmas morning at our house, we ventured 3 hours to Birmingham to spend the rest of the day with my family.

And, yes this is my beautiful cousin who is pregnant with her first child who is going to be born this July! Can't wait to meet my second or third cousin, can't remember all that stuff, but I feel like I will be more like an aunt than a cousin to this new baby girl. Yes, we have a lot of beautiful women in our family, I might say.
