October 2011

October presented more flag football games for us to attend. The little ones love just playing on the sidelines. So neat to see how close they have become...

Mary Taylor has really started to dress herself and care about what she wears. I had heard about girls from my other friends, but yes, they are so dramatic, emotional, and change clothes 20 times a day! She was really into the red sparkle shoes back in October until February, two weeks ago we found some pink cow boy boots, which is now her new obsession. Pictures to come in future posts...

We stayed late this night, just to run around because the weather was so great. Yes, we paid for it the next morning, but it was worth it!!

In the middle of the month we met up with some old college friends at an Auburn tailgate. Mary Taylor loved being a cheerleader for the day!

Justin and Leah's children are too precious. This little munchkin is edible!!

All our kids had a blast running around with one another!

Sweet Carson..looks like a miniature Henry...

Emily, Hal, and Scott even came to join us! Oldies, but goodies!

Jackson and Henry with weapons of choice...

At this point, Henry has been in kindergarten two months and he has written his first sentence by himself, that I know of, right here: "My family likes to go to the Aquarium." I was pretty proud of him!!

My two little pumpkins getting ready for Halloween..

They really do love each other!!

"Mommy, I didn't have my medium. When can I have my medium?" asks Mary Taylor. Media is the time of day where mommy gets an extra break and the kids get to calm down and chill out. It's a win win for all!!

So why not document something that happens in our family so often!

Tuck gets up from his nap and just stands there. I ask him if he needs to go to the potty while I take his picture, he then proceeds to tee-tee in his pants....lovely..

A couple more pictures of the medium watching clan...

Then, someone gets thrown in the tub!

Which happened quite often and still does five months later. We can't quite get the potty training thing down yet.

 and a little bit more...

After Henry's starwars birthday it was only fitting for the kids to dress as  Master Yoda, Princess Leia and Anakin Skywalker.

We all got our kids together at the African Adoption Fellowship Halloween party at Andrea Young's house. All three of these Ugandan babes are from the same babies home in Uganda. So neat we all live within an hour of one another!! Crazy! Sara and I have started the Safe Place to Share blog and Jane and I got to church together and she blogs at Compelling Grace.

Sweet little monster Mark or maybe he was a dinosaur and little butterfly Martha Jane!

The whole crew dressed in their halloween costumes...

My baby girl is getting so big!

I kind of like these two!

Last flag football game was not one but four! Wow, was that a long night, especially because daddy was out of town!

Mary Taylor and Charles Tucker made some friends to pass the time between all the games...

Henry finally got the hang of the game this last night.

I think they scored for the first time on the third game, even though they lost all four games. :(

The boys did not seem to be phased at all, they were just having fun!!

Happy Halloween!!!

For the last three years we have trick or treated with all the kids from the neighborhood. Mary Taylor, Charles Tucker, Henry, Maximillian, Hannah, and

Pink pig Blair and little lady bug Charlotte had a free ride to all the candy!

We could not keep up with Henry...

He was on the run the whole time with the rest of his friends...

That about wraps up flag football and Halloween in October 2011!! Now on to the fun of Thanksgiving and Mary Taylor's birthday!
