a gospel friendship

God has been teaching me about how to be a loving friend and he has greatly used my special friend Jenna to show me my sin and make me more like Christ. She has shown me what true friendship looks like. Jenna and I are a lot alike in many ways. Our two kids are similar ages, we are both former teachers, we love to sew and do projects around the house, and we both love being around people. But, we are very different in a lot of ways too, which leads us to conflict. What freedom there is in confronting others in love...hard....but oh so freeing!!  Through this conflict we have grown stronger in our relationship with one another and in our relationship with Christ. I am very thankful for Jenna's friendship.

We are pursued and loved unconditionally by an Almighty God who frees us up to love others in life changing ways. Wow, what freedom that is! The gospel changes everything.

This gospel is changing my friend Jenna and through this transformation she has felt led to start a blog about her life as a mommy learning to live the gospel day in and day out, moment by moment! Thank you for being a picture of the gospel for me. Love you girl!!

Check our her blog! Love this title, House full of Curls, Very fitting!!
