Our Court Date...

...went very well!!! The judge wants to see us back on December 21st at 10:30 a.m. to hopefully get our verbal and written ruling for Legal Guardianship. So..yes, we will be in Uganda for Christmas....a little sad Henry and Dee have to go back home, but we prepared for this...still so glad to be here with our son!!

Here are some pictures of us today as we drive an hour in all the Kampala traffic to our court hearing...I was able to dress Charles Tucker in one of Henry's cute outfits too. Can he be any cuter??

Poor buddy has only been out of the babies home twice since March, so he was a little over stimulated by all the sights and sounds as we drove into the city...

Once we got there, just in time...Mama Dora gave me a bottle of juice to give Charles Tucker...

While we waited for the first family to go to court we waited in the children's play area, which was very helpful. Henry loves his new brother...it warms my heart to see how excited he gets to see him everyday. And Mama Dora and the other Ugandan ladies enjoyed watching Mary Taylor run around and gets some energy out...they kept saying..."She is so active."

We made sure to get a picture with our crew Samuel, the director/administerator of LHBH and Mama Dora who accompanied us to our court date...two very wonderful people, as all the Ugandans seem to be so far..

After our three hour nap back at the guest house, we stopped by the babies home before Charles Tucker went to sleep for the night. Quite a change from the morning...he was running around having the best time with Henry, Daddy and all the other babies at the home. It was good for him to go back to what he knows after such a stressful morning... He knows all of our names...he loves pointing to "daddy" or asking where daddy is. He seems to really look up to Henry and know that he is older. He thinks he is so funny! And you can tell he knows Mary Taylor is his age...he gets frustrated with her if she takes something from him. So fun to see his personality come out a little bit.

Wow!! I still have to pinch myself to realize, what a blessing we get to be apart of. God is so faithful and so good!!

Thank you all for your prayers and encouraging emails!! Slowly getting more sleep, but we are still so off, considering I am writting this post at 2:17 a.m. as you all are eating dinner and getting kids to bed...

Love you all!!!
